Vickery Financial Services, Inc. is an independent wealth management firm located in Athens, Georgia. Chuck Vickery founded VFS in 1982 to provide investment advice that would help his clients make smart decisions with their money. While many things have changed since 1982, the core principles of VFS have remained the same.

Charles J. (Chuck) Vickery is the founder and president of Vickery Financial Services, Inc. (VFS), which specializes in comprehensive wealth management planning for retirees and pre-retirees. Financial education is a passion of Chucks; since 1994 he has regularly taught evening retirement planning classes.
Chuck graduated from The University of Georgia with a BBA degree in Risk Management. He has been active in the Athens financial community since his 1972 discharge from the U.S. Army. He founded VFS in 1982. His designations include Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Chuck has spoken to national groups regarding tax-advantaged methods of accumulating wealth. He has been a guest on a local radio station talk show and a guest lecturer with The University of Georgia’s Gerontology Center. He has moderated courses on Estate and Retirement Planning for other area financial professionals. Atlanta Magazine named him a Five Star Wealth Adviser.
A member of The First United Methodist Church, Chuck is active in both civic and professional affairs. He is a past president of the Georgia Tip-Off Club, the Northeast Georgia Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the Classic City Rotary Club. He currently serves as a trustee for the Georgia Rotary Student Program.
Clarke Holt has been providing wealth advisery and investment management solutions to clients since 1999. Partnering with clients, his focus is on wealth management with an emphasis on providing objective, conflict-free advice. Clarke concentrates on developing long-term relationships through a commitment to quality client service.
Clarke received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern State University. He began his career as a Financial Adviser in 1999 with Smith Barney in Atlanta, GA. In 2003, Clarke joined independent wealth management firm Vickery Financial Services, Inc. in Athens. Clarke and his wife Kim have two daughters, Claire and Caroline, and are active in the Athens community.
Deanne S. Rosso, CFP®, is a co-owner and a Wealth Adviser at Vickery Financial Services, Inc. (VFS). She graduated from the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences, focusing in Consumer Economics and Public Relations. Deanne is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
Deanne works diligently to ensure that each client receives the personal service that we believe makes Vickery Financial unique among other firms. She works closely with clients at VFS to understand their needs and create customized financial solutions by analyzing the current situation, researching investment options, and coordinating the plan’s implementation.
When Deanne is not in the office, you may find her volunteering. She serves on the board of both the Junior League of Athens and the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce. Deanne is the President Elect of the Junior League. Together with husband Brandon and their sons Blake and Brooks, they enjoy fishing and boating at nearby Lake Oconee or cheering on the Dawgs from their living room or Sanford Stadium.
Dax Langley began his career in 2007 with Morgan Keegan, where he successfully completed a two year adviser training program. The program requirements include showing competency in equity and fixed income capital markets, as well as an ability to execute and deliver comprehensive asset management strategies for high net worth families and institutional customers. In 2009, Dax transitioned his practice to Vickery Financial Services, Inc. to join the family business and continue to focus on high net worth families and institutional clients throughout the southeast.
Dax strives to cultivate close working relationships with each client. From the onset of any new relationship, he utilizes a discovery process to capture what is important to a family now and in the future. Through this unique process, Dax strategically pinpoints critical needs concerning family and business assets, to provide customized solutions for advanced planning, wealth preservation and asset management needs. He gets the most satisfaction from his relationships through educating clients and creating synergy with their financial goals and lifetime needs and desires.
Dax attended the University of Georgia on a full athletic scholarship and was a football letterman from 1994-1998. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Economics. He is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and a Board member of the Athens Boys and Girls Club.
Currently, Dax resides in Athens with his wife, Valerie, and their four children, Kate, Charlie, Knox and Mamie. Dax and his family are members of The First United Methodist Church and are active in the church and the Athens community.
Rob Fezekas is a Wealth Adviser at Vickery Financial Services, Inc. and joined the team in 2015. His investment career began in 1992 as a Securities Analyst with the Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, IA and continued as a Portfolio Manager with Dimensional Fund Advisors in Santa Monica, CA. After moving to Athens, he was most recently an Independent Financial Consultant focused on giving clients high quality service and unbiased financial advice. Rob strives to provide each client with a customized, effective investment plan that incorporates all aspects of their particular financial situation and goals.
Rob is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he earned a B.A. degree in Finance and a minor in Mathematics, and earned his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Analytic Finance, Statistics and Economics. Rob is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a volunteer Board Member for the Athens Area Community Foundation. He considers himself a lifelong learner and enjoys studying and keeping up with new developments in the financial markets and investment research. His wife is a Professor of Law at the University of Georgia and they have two children.
David Jenkins joined Vickery Financial as a Wealth Adviser in January of 2015. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. His principal areas of focus were Industrial Firm Organization and Macroeconomics. David holds the Uniform Investment Adviser Law (Series 65) registration and is a member of the American Economic Association.
As an economist, David is constantly striving for efficiency and carries this principle over to his investment strategy. He constructs comprehensive financial solutions for clients seeking to grow and preserve their assets in an efficient manner. David aims to understand the unique challenges facing clients as they plan for their future, and he welcomes the opportunity to help others live the life they have envisioned, whether they are just getting started or closing in on retirement.
Born and raised in Athens, where he remains actively involved in the surrounding communities as well as the UGA Athletic Department.
Clark is a Wealth Strategist and Practice Group Leader with Vickery Financial Services. Clark’s Practice Group includes David Jenkins, Rob Fezekas CFA and DeeDee Bloom.
Clark received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and spent 12 years working as an Investment Adviser and Private Banker. Clark holds the Certified Wealth Strategist industry designation.
He joined Cannon Financial Institute in Athens in 1998 as a consultant to Financial Advisory Firms. He associated with Vickery Financial Services in 2015 as a Wealth Adviser.
Clark is the Managing Member of Clark Brown, LLC. and provides consulting and professional services to businesses, non-profit organizations, individuals, couples and families. These services included but are not limited to, executive coaching, training, facilitation and public speaking.
He is active in the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce with a focus on providing talent development support to the non-profit community.
Clark enjoys golf and tennis. He and his wife, Stacy, have three children and reside in Athens.
Sharon joined Vickery Financial in 2006 after retiring from a career in teaching business education. She attended Georgia Southern University and The University of Georgia and earned degrees in both Business and Adult Education. In addition to her teaching experience, Sharon has held positions as communications clerk, administrative secretary, and training officer. Having taken a Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement class at Athens Technical College, Sharon became a Vickery Financial client and was a client a number of years before joining the VFS team.
Sharon lives in Watkinsville, Georgia, and is an active member of Athens First Baptist Church. She is a member of the Athens Luncheon Optimist Club and volunteers with the American Red Cross.
